Biography:Sue has been a long time resident of Lamar. She began her career at Lamar Community College, in 1989, teaching a variety of classes in Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Journalism, and English. During her tenor with Lamar Community College, Sue not only taught but was the Education and Writing-Research Coordinator, as well as the Public Relations Assistant.
During her last years with LCC, Sue opened a private practice focusing on domestic violence offenders. Sue continued treating patients, in a private practice setting, for years to come even with her new role as Mental Health Coordinator at Bent County Correctional Facility, until 2015. In 2015, Sue became a Licensed Addiction Counselor for RESADA, until joining the High Plains Community Health Center family.
