Biography:

Susanna is a family medicine provider with special interest and training in pediatrics and diabetes. Susanna proudly serves the community that she and her family call home. She works at the state and national levels to advocate for rural health access and quality. Dedication to rural health provided her the honor of a Distinguished Fellow title with the AAPA. Through hard work and countless hours she earned a Doctor of Medical Science degree with post doctoral certification in Healthcare Administration. Working at High Plains CHC and serving this community is evident in her passion for the health and wellbeing of her patients.

Susanna has nearly 20 years experience and a strong belief in treating the whole person. Her patients become an extension of her family. This is one of the many reasons High Plains Community Health Center is honored to have her be a member our family and our community.

Susanna has been married for over 15 years and has two beautiful children who are her heart and soul. She loves to sing, cook with her husband, travel with her children and be outdoors being active whenever possible. Susanna is not only a wife, mother, and PA but an avid exerciser.
