High Plains provides free language services such as:
Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act
High Plains must provide language assistance services free of charge, in an accurate and timely fashion, while protecting your privacy. The following link shows the hotline numbers for the top 15 languages spoken in Colorado that patients can access to receive interpretations services.
Hearing or speech impaired, please call Relay Colorado at 1-800-659-3656 or 711 and follow this guide:
1. Your call will be answered by a representative stating "Relay Colorado, may I have the number to call.
2. Give the CA (representative) the area code and number you want to call.
3. The CA will process your call, relaying exactly what the TTY user types to you as well as exactly what you speak to the TTY user. This indicates you have completed your response, and that is the other party's turn to respond.
